Creating a new view of viewing discounts from your local stores
Mobile / Product DesignProject outcome
Ušteda needed a clearer mobile path for everyday shoppers to see discounts from local stores and plan purchases with less friction. I joined early to structure discovery and design, built a new prototype around list and savings flows, and validated it with real users.
After testing the new shopping-list prototype, 4 of 5 participants said it was significantly easier to use than the previous version.
Ušteda (Bosnian for “savings”) is a small Bosnian startup building a consumer app that helps people plan everyday shopping and spend more intentionally. The work focused on a clearer way for shoppers to see discounts from local stores, alongside a smarter shopping-list experience that makes it easier to organise purchases, stay on track, and cut unnecessary costs.
The design works
The Ušteda app is built for shoppers on their phones — from the first open through local discounts, lists, stores, catalogues, and loyalty. These screens map that path: how people land, browse deals, filter what they need, keep a shopping list, find nearby shops, and use their loyalty card.
