Ušteda (Bosnian for “savings”) is a small Bosnian startup building a consumer app that helps people plan everyday shopping and spend more intentionally. At its core is a smarter shopping list experience — making it easier to organise purchases, stay on track, and cut unnecessary costs.

UX Process & Product Design
End-to-end UX for Ušteda — from establishing the research practice through prototyping and usability testing.
- Guided the team through the full UX process, introducing structured research and design practices
- Collaborated closely with front-end and back-end developers to align on implementation
- Developed a UX research plan, conducted user interviews, and facilitated brainstorming sessions to generate effective research questions
- Designed a new prototype and conducted usability studies with 5 participants
Key Achievement
Shopping list usability improved
Improved shopping list usability: 4 out of 5 participants reported it was significantly easier to use compared to the previous version.
